Tonya K. Grant

Tonya always has a book in her hand. As a kid, she slept with a flashlight under her pillow to sneak in one more chapter... Until she was busted by her mom, who confiscated the flashlight. Luckily, she had a spare. As an adult, her dream is to have her own books published. She writes early readers, middle grade and young adult books filled with mystery, suspense, sprinkles of hope and a dash of humor. She’s published in numerous magazines and two books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series.

She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Black Creators in Kid Lit, and the Georgia Library Media Association. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys watching movies, knitting, working out, and game nights with her family.
